Kasey, Fashion Portraits

Gah! This girl is stunning! And as real as they come. She has a mind of her own and won't hesitate to tell you how much she loves Krispy Kreme doughnuts or belt out Celine Dion!

Playing with available light

I love playing with light and trying new things. This is 100% natural light from her bedroom window. Yep! I saw this light and had to have it. ;) Obviously it worked perfectly with some texturing too! I am super pleased with this image and can't wait to play with this technique more!

Winter Pearls

We had a fun mini session up in the mountains - where we found some snow! It may not seem like it since you don't really notice it in these images, but the snow really created the feel of this session. And do you like the pearls? I love 'em! :) These are my favorite images of each of them. It was a really mini session since it was so dang cold! But obviously a success!

Portrait Party... aka Photo Partay!!

I am super behind on posting images from the past few sessions, but these girls are dying to see their pictures, so I'm "throwing" them up here!

We laughed a lot as these girls worked the camera. :) Really, they're just naturally beautiful girls and getting incredible shots of them was easy peasy.

My sister (the first one pictured) will be going back to Hawaii at the end of the month and wanted some fallish pictures before she leaves (haha pun not intended)! The colors weren't as brilliant as we had hoped, but obviously we got some good shots even if they don't scream Autumn!

Honestly, so much fun!

Elder States

This is Ty. He's my husband's baby brother (youngest of 9). Ty has been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Scottsdale, Arizona! He will serve for two years.

Ty is all sorts of incredible. I hope he knows how much he is loved and adored. He is one of the most kind young men I have ever had the pleasure to know. I have learned so much from his example of overcoming difficulties! He is so optimistic, kind and funny! He is ridiculously talented, and easy going. He is one of the best uncles my boys could ask for, and the best brother in law I could have dreamed of! He is respectful and helpful and just really really great!

If he can survive the heat of Arizona, he will be just fine!

Elder Cram

I need a good quote for this last image. "... the fields are white..." or something would be cool, yeah?

This is my baby brother, Josh. He's the raddest kid I know. Talk about original. His positive energy is contagious and his love for people is admirable. I want to be like him when I grow up!

He will be serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Perth, Australia! It will be beyond awesome if he comes home with an accent... just saying! Without a doubt he will do incredible things and the Lord will be able to work miracles through him.

I love you, Josh (if you ever doubted it). Mega proud of the man you are becoming!
